We set out that day expecting a typical woodland walk - muddy boots, sticks & stones thrown for the dog, and a toddler collecting pieces of nature like treasures. But tucked away in the heart of the forest, Englemere Pond turned out to be something far more magical.

Whitstable Castle is absolutely beautiful. A marvel to look at. The stone masonry, the beautiful windows, the rose and sunflower gardens…I’m not the type of person who usually uses the word delightful but it really was delightful walking around the castle and exploring the gardens.
