There are castles, and then there’s Deal Castle – a little gem tucked along the Kent coastline that feels like it’s stepped straight out of a storybook. From above, it’s shaped like a flower, with an empty moat circling its walls. A flower-shaped castle with a moat! Honestly, what’s not to love? I have a soft spot for castles. And moats. Always have.
