Sunset Therapy with Sandy Paws

There’s something about sunsets… the shimmering light on the sea, the city beginning to sparkle in the distance, the horizon soft with magic.

Somehow, watching the sky turn gold while my dogs zoom up and down the shoreline makes everything feel a little more manageable.

They didn’t care about deadlines, heartbreak, or existential spirals.
They cared about sticks. And sand. And sprinting into the ocean at full speed like maniacs…and then sharing their joy as they come charging back to shake right next to me.

I’m suddenly soaked in sandy saltwater, shaking off the day, and laughing as my dogs remind me to stay in the moment and really feel the sand beneath my toes.

Life doesn’t always have to make sense to be beautiful.
Sometimes it just needs a sunset, a wagging tail, and a deep breath.

And maybe a dry towel in the car.
